Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals who care for people with HIV infection.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve HCPs’ competence in adopting HIV management strategies that minimize complexity for both providers and patients at key points in the care cascade

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Devise strategies to provide simple and effective initial ART that are appropriately individualized based on characteristics and wishes of people living with HIV

  • Minimize initial barriers to accessing HIV care through simplified approaches for HIV screening, diagnosis, linkage to care, and prompt ART initiation
