Target Audience

This educational activity is intended for oncologists, oncology nurses, oncology pharmacists, physician associates, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with gynecologic malignancies, as well as patients with gynecologic cancers and their caregivers.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to educate oncologists, oncology nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients and caregivers, about recent developments in the care of gynecologic malignancies and to raise awareness of disparities in care to optimize and individualize the treatment experience for every patient.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify populations of patients at risk for poor outcomes in gynecologic cancers and the evidence-supported factors that contribute to those suboptimal outcomes

  • Evaluate the latest clinical data on new and emerging systemic approaches to endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancers, including the role of targeted agents, immunotherapy, and immunotherapy combinations​

  • Apply evidence-based guidelines and predictive biomarker testing to develop equitable, individualized treatment plans for patients with endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancers through shared decision-making​

  • Plan individualized treatment strategies for patients with cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers, considering the available clinical data, expert recommendations, and patient preferences

  • Implement evidence-based supportive care for TRAEs experienced by patients with gynecologic cancers
