The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ knowledge of and competence in optimizing weight management for patients with OSA and obesity.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for sleep specialists, pulmonologists, physician associates, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with OSA and obesity.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the pathophysiologic connections between obesity and OSA
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of pharmacotherapy in the management of patients with OSA and obesity
  • Employ evidence-based techniques that prioritize the long-term management of obesity as part of comprehensive OSA care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence and patient preferences into the management of OSA
