History and Current Presentation

Your patient is a 73-year-old woman with no significant past medical history who presents with severe abdominal pain. Despite a negative colonoscopy 2 years ago, CT scans show a cecal mass and multiple liver lesions. The cecal mass is confirmed on colonoscopy, and pathology from a serrated polyp reveals a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. Given the extent of metastatic disease involvement, she is not a candidate for resection. Her Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status is 0 and the patient is amenable to start systemic therapy.

Based on this patient’s history and current diagnosis, which molecular testing would you order for this patient?
